There is an unscriptural Biblical teaching which has become a widespread teaching which teaches that Christ is coming back for a "glorious Church" that is without spot or blemish. There is no place in the Scriptures that teaches this!
Ephesians 5:27 DOES NOT tell us that Christ is coming back for a "glorious Church" that is without spot or blemish. This verse tells us that Christ is going to present to Himself a "glorious Church" that is without spot or blemish.
There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between the wording of coming back for a "glorious Church" which is often quoted, but is not even stated in Ephesians 5:27, and the wording that Christ is going to present to Himself a "glorious Church" that is without spot or blemish which is stated in this verse.
When the Resurrection of the Saints takes place, it will be at this point and time that the Church will then be TRANSFORMED into the "glorious Church" which will be without spot or blemish that Christ will present to Himself as His Bride, the Church.
